A place to go in Santiago I  don't like very much to live in Santiago because the ambient is so accelerated, sometimes you need to change the urban landscape and appreciate the different places here (: Near of my house there is a hill called "Cerro Renca"  the entry is always open, for many years this place was abandoned by the municipality, unfortunately the hill suffered of fires affecting flora and fauna, but since the change of the mayor of the municipality in Renca, many activities have been done to reforest and take care of our hill ❤  My niece always asked me to take her there, in September for the national holidays thare are a Fonda, is so fun go there because Renca is a small commune so you can find know people, friends and is so great 😁 I like also because many kids raise kites in the hill, is like a tradition that begins in July and ends until the wind allows to raise kites. Mi favorite  subject: agricultural systems In this semester I have "agricultural systems" in this subject we study different  topics about plant physiology  ❤  modeling of systems, and some plant growth models, I like very much this subject because it was integrator of different subjects of my career and because I think that this subject the teacher had a different focus, there was a constant approach in the classes about the future of agronomy with the global warming,  the subject  was a  mixture about plant physiology, some of ecology and the relationship  with the environment, my favorite topic was the response of plants to water stress because not all plants have the same strategies to survive and is very interesting to know the diversity of mechanisms ❤ And my second favorite subject in this semester was "fundamentals of animal production" I don't  like the area of Animal production (I'm not vegetarian) but I like some topics of thi...

A good application for an agronomist: Canopeo When I was in my second year of university, I have a course called "Crop fertilization" in this course the teacher presented us an application to use it in a semestral work, in this work we  had to evaluate the  effects of different fertilizer for the same vegetable (radish), so with this application we saw the leaf growth, you only have to stand up in front of the crop and take a picture from above it (always in the same height) you will see something similar to the photo, the application captures the green leaves and indicates you the percentage of leaf  coverage. This is a good application for an agronomist because you can follow the growth of your crops and compare different areas, but it has their flaws too because if are some herbs that don´t belong to your crop the application can´t distinguish between the herbs and your crop, so in this case, the application can indicate a higher percentage because is consideri...

Major in? I would like to take the major of agricultural production spicifically in plants physiology, in this area you can study and understand different metabolic processes, the reactons of plants to stress, etc. I would like to take the best pathway that help me to work in what I want, in the future the climatic conditions and natural resources will not be optimal for the production of food, I'm so interested to help to keep the food safety, with the plants that have the best adaptation in the condition of climate change it could be possible, even though is very difficult to imagine how  things will be in the future. M y travel If I could choose a place to travel, I choose Italy, because I love the food and pasta, I would like eat a real pasta 100% italian and learn about cousine, drinks and different foods preparations, besides like every country, the climate have a influence on vegetation very interestering and special. On other hand in Italia there are places full of history like the Rome Coliseum, it is a large amphitheater from the time of the Roman Empire, built in the first century in the center of the city of Rome and under the jurisdiction of the Vatican City, for its origin linked to Catholicism. It hosted shows such as venations (animal fights) or noxii (executions of prisoners by animals), as well as munera: gladiatorial fights. It was estimated that between 500,000 and 1,000,000 people died in these games and up to 50,000 spectators could participate in the bloody amusements with which the emperors courted to the people (so crazy).

My picture When my mom took this picture (in my house) I was 6 years old (in 2003). My mom brushed my hair with two braids everyday for the school, so I suppose that she took me this picture in a Sunday morning, I sleep with my braids, because I liked that my hair seems like a lion and because in my house all had curly hair except me, so I joined to the mass.  I remember that my mom always tell my that I was a little with, I did't understand why she told me that, now that I see this picture I agree complety with her. I like very much this picture (pictures when I was a little girl in general) because I think that when you are a kid you show all your essence, in all entirety. and when you grow up you could forget your essence, but when you see any childhood picture you can remember who you really are.

My favority piece of technology   My favorite piece of technology is my cellphone, because you can access to information,  books, movies, music, you can   communicate with people too and  search everything you can imagine, nowadays we use it in every moment. Maybe cellphone is the favorite piece of technology of all, so I choose  my second favorite piece of technology: sewing machine <3 When I was a little little girl I have barbies and  babies (toys obviously haha) I liked very much to make them clothes, I remember that in a Christmas my mom gives me a little sewing machine, but it did not work very well because it was a toy, so I always wanted to have one. On my 18th birthday my mom gave me a sewing machine 100% real no fake, I was so happy so I learn how to used it quickly, I used it to make dresses, shirts, skirts, costumes for my little niece. Why did you choose Agronomic Engineering? When I was a child I dreamed with being free as Tarzan, living in a forest and hang up from the trees <3 Then, when I grow up I thought in study some career related to health, I wanted to work in a public hospital and treat people well, but I discovered that when I see blood I feel so anguish and sad  for the pain of others :( I thought that I like very much the biology especially the plants, I love to see how they grow up and discover things about them, I was really sure that I had to follow what I loved so I entered in Universidad de Chile in 2016, I learned a lot in this time I have tired a lot but when I look back I feel that it has been a good time investmen. Autobiography... Hi, my name is Noelia and I have lived in Santiago since I was born in 1997, my mother and dad were born in the south of Chile (Puerto Montt and Traiguen respectively) so, I have all my family there, here in Santiago I only have my two broders: JuanMa (23 years old) and Beto (20 years old), my sister Roxana (30 years old), my niece Sofía (7 years) and my parents: Inés and Juan. When I was a girl I liked so much going to school because the academic circles was familiar, I remember that in these days everything was fun and without preoccupations, with my friends we laughed all the time, I really appreciate that period. Then in 2012 I studied in Liceo N°7 Luisa Saavedra, I didn´t like this high school because it was girl´s school, the enviroment was very superficial and sometimes unpleasant for the problems among the girls. In this year I started a relationship with Gustavo, he really made this period more pleasant to me, we have been together for seven years ...

1. it´s easy for me to learn when I listen music and movies because I can remember some words and it results funny for me 2. it's hard for me to learn and understand extensive texts for a long time 3. something I want to learn in this course is more about grammatical because my last english class has been a long time ago (4 years) So I feel restricted about written, I´m very interested to learn, remember and practice the idiom, principally for two reason,first: The lenguage draw my atention, and second: I consider that is very important nowadays, there´s so much interesting knowledge in textbooks, so is fundamental to manage the idiom. 4.
